The biggest news in the poker world in the past couple days is that Eugene Katchalov has won the 100k Super High Roller Title in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure series. Katchalov takes home the $1.5 million top prize after beating PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu.
34 players, including pros Jason Mercier, Humberto Brenes, Negreanu, Phil Laak, Antoni Esfandiari, and newly crowned WSOP Main Event Champ Jonathan Duhamel played in the event looking to capture the $1.5 million prize. It took 3 days and 33 casualties for Katchalov to take down the title. Negreanu's second place finish of $1 million puts him back on top of the all-time poker winnings list, retaking the spot from Phil Ivey.
While the high roller event is over, there are plenty more events to look forward to at the PCA. The Main Event proves to be exciting. More news to come later...
